I love Lakeside! By the time we move out in June, my husband and I will have lived here for about 4 and a half years. We started off in a one bed/one bath, and then moved to a 2 bed/2 bath after a year. The apartments are very nice, being constantly renovated, and very spacious. Really the only downside is the lack of central air. It does get hot in the bedrooms in the summer, as the only wall AC unit is in the living room, but we bought a window AC unit(~$300) and it made all the difference. It is a bit pricey, but I am sure it is comparable to other apartments in such a nice area. Wheaton/Glen Ellyn are BEAUTIFUL suburbs, and the location of Lakeside is optimal. Only a few miles from 88 and 355 and near endless shopping and dining. The management staff does change frequently, some are better some are worse, but if you’re a low maintenance tenant such as myself, it doesn’t really affect you. My favorite part about Lakeside is its location. It is in such a nice, safe subdivision; surrounded by beautiful houses and wonderful walking paths. If you’re a dog owner such as myself, your dog will love the location. Right across Briarcliffe is the most beautiful walking path around a park and a couple ball fields. I will sincerely miss Lakeside as I move to Michigan for my residency.

I was searching for apartments on trulia and emailed several housing apartments. I immediately received a reply from lakeside apartments the same day to view available apartment. I met with Diana, who was warm, friendly and compassionate with wanting to show me the available apartment and explained everything that I needed to know. She offered coffee as I filled out my applications and she followed up with any questions, if she was unsure about the answer. Also, she introduced me to the maintanance staff who was present in the office briefly. I decided to take the apartment and went back into into the office a few days later to pay for my rent and to receive my keys. I was happily greeted by Diana and Julie with open arms. Julie was great with assisting me through emails with lease agreement. Also, Mike the maintanance guy is great and friendly. I know God as led me to a great heart filled place which I can call home. I received several other apartments viewing, but I know I belong here. Thank you lakeside apartment. Job well done Julie, Diana and Mike😊

Very enjoyable experience living here. Friendly and reserved residents, great management, close proximity to College of Dupage which makes it good for college students. The units are very nice and if you get a unit with a view of the Lake it's very beautiful.
